Terms of Service
These terms describe using Skin Streak, its game accounts and its community features. Competition-specific rules apply separately to any active prize campaign.
1. What Skin Streak does
Skin Streak is an independent Counter-Strike 2 skin-price guessing game. Choose whether a skin’s reference price is higher or lower than the one shown, with five seconds to answer each question.
Unranked play is available without signing in and continues until an incorrect answer or timeout. Ranked play requires an account and currently allows three starts per account per Denmark calendar day, with no fixed question or score limit. A wrong answer or timeout ends the streak and saves the score. Starting a ranked run uses an attempt even if you leave before finishing. Weekly standings combine each day’s best completed ranked score. Clubs let signed-in players compare weekly scores through private invitation codes.
XP, scores and progression are game records. They are not money, ownership of a Steam item or a promise of a skin. Skin Streak currently has no skin trading, deposits, paid entries or withdrawal service.
A displayed prize proposal is not an active competition. Only an expressly active campaign is open for entry. Its published rules identify the organizer, eligibility, entry period, prize and winner-selection method. Read the competition rules and the campaign details before entering. Playing alone does not guarantee a prize.
2. Registration and sign-in
You can create a game profile using a sign-in option offered on the sign-in page. Google sign-in is available through the sign-in page. Where email sign-in is enabled, you can register or sign in by verifying a one-time code sent to your email. A profile is created only after successful verification. You may create an email account with a public display name and password, then verify your email with a one-time code. Password reset also requires email verification. Your display name is public; your email is private. Email registration is available only when the verification service is enabled. Skin Streak does not ask for or store your sign-in provider’s password.
Different sign-in providers currently create separate game profiles and do not automatically merge progress. Keep your sign-in account secure and use an appropriate public alias. Do not impersonate another person. Use one account per person for ranked play and competitions; do not use another provider or recreate an account to evade play limits.
Public boards show game aliases and scores rather than your private email. The Privacy Policy explains account data, cookies and deletion controls. Any age or country restrictions for a prize campaign are stated in that campaign’s rules; do not enter unless you qualify.
3. Acceptable use
Play fairly and use the site lawfully. Do not:
- Use bots, scripts, automated answers or manipulated requests to gain scores, entries or extra attempts.
- Exploit bugs, bypass authentication or timing controls, interfere with other accounts, or overload or disrupt the service.
- Use multiple accounts to bypass limits or influence a competition unfairly.
- Use aliases or club names that impersonate others, harass people, infringe rights or contain unlawful content.
Club invitation codes grant access to the club’s shared standings. Share them only with people you intend to invite.
Prestige tiers and “GOAT of Skins” leaderboard titles describe gameplay achievements. They do not grant ownership of real skins or extra giveaway chances. Shared challenge links do not award tickets.
4. Intellectual property
Rights in Skin Streak’s original branding, interface, code and written content remain with their respective owners. Using the game does not transfer those rights to you.
Counter-Strike, Steam, skin names, artwork and other third-party material belong to their respective rights holders. Skin Streak is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve. External data and image sources are listed in Data credits. No ownership or exclusive rights over third-party assets are claimed.
5. Prices, availability and disclaimers
Reference prices come from external data sources and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. A ranked set uses a fixed price snapshot. Game prices are not an offer to buy or sell, a guaranteed market valuation or financial advice.
The game depends on internet connectivity, external data and authentication providers. Errors, outages or delays may affect play, timers or access. Continuous availability, error-free operation and particular game results are not guaranteed.
These terms do not exclude any rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
6. Account restrictions and closure
Skin Streak may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect the service or comply with law. Competition results remain subject to the fair-play review described in the applicable campaign rules.
You can stop playing at any time and request deletion through your account. Deletion removes saved gameplay and club memberships, and deletes clubs you own. An unresolved winning prize must be resolved before the current deletion control can complete. Limited anti-abuse and non-identifying records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a game profile does not delete your identity-provider account.
7. Contact
Contact Skin Streak by direct message on X: @playskinstreak. Include the page or feature involved and your public game alias where relevant. Never send your password, sign-in token or identity documents through social media.
For a specific prize campaign, use the organizer and contact information published in that campaign’s rules. Social media platforms process messages under their own privacy policies.
