Skin Streak / Rules

Play fair. Win fairly.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Skin Streak is a free CS2 knowledge game. Practice is open worldwide. Real-prize campaigns, when published, are separate free promotions with their own dates, prize and eligibility.

Two ways to play

Practice: no sign-in needed. Device-local XP and virtual progression have no cash value. Practice never earns prize entries.

Ranked: sign in with Google, email verification where enabled, or another sign-in option offered on the sign-in page. Use the same provider to keep your profile; different providers currently create separate profiles. The one-account-per-person rule applies across all sign-in providers. Scores, daily attempt limits, XP and five-second answer deadlines are checked on the server. Your random display alias, best ranked score and XP can appear on the public leaderboard.

Ranked play

  1. The daily challenge is an unlimited streak: each correct answer adds one point. You get 5 seconds per answer. The first wrong answer or timeout ends the run and saves your streak. There is no 10-question or 10-point cap.
  2. You have 3 ranked starts per calendar day in Denmark (Europe/Copenhagen). Starting a run consumes an attempt even if you leave, lose connection or start another run. Attempts reset at midnight in Denmark (Europe/Copenhagen, including daylight saving time). Unranked remains unlimited.
  3. The daily leaderboard uses your best completed streak: longest streak first, then total response time for tied streaks. The final wrong answer or timeout also counts toward time. XP is separate from giveaway odds.

Random giveaways — ticket format

This section applies only to a campaign labelled as a random giveaway. It does not apply to a “Top score wins” championship.

  1. A giveaway must be funded and published. Join it and confirm eligibility before starting a qualifying ranked run. Finish a streak with at least one correct answer before that campaign closes to earn 1 entry in each eligible campaign you joined.
  2. Maximum 3 entries per ranked start-day. New daily campaigns span one Denmark calendar day; new weekly random campaigns span seven Denmark calendar days. A weekly random campaign therefore allows at most 21 tickets per person. Daylight saving can change the number of hours in a calendar day. No retroactive entries for runs started before joining.
  3. No fees, deposits, purchases or paid extra attempts. XP cannot be exchanged for cash, real skins or tickets. Every ticket has the same draw weight.

Weekly championship — skill format

A campaign labelled “Top score wins” is a skill competition, separate from a random giveaway. Your best completed ranked score each eligible UTC day contributes to your campaign total. Only runs started after joining and within the published campaign window count. Weekly community leagues use Monday–Sunday in Denmark; an inaugural prize window may be shorter and has its own published dates.

Standings use total correct answers first, then the sum of response times from the selected daily runs, then the earliest start time of the last contributing run. Every person has the same three ranked starts per Denmark calendar day. If these three metrics are exactly tied, no automatic winner is chosen: tied players must complete an additional identical-question skill tie-break arranged by the organizer. This version records a champion after organizer review; it does not automatically run tie-break matches.

A skill prize has no random ticket weighting, no paid extra attempts and no cash alternative. A minimum of one total correct answer is required to qualify. The organizer must fund the exact stated skin before opening the campaign. A proposed-prize preview is not an open competition or a promise of an available prize.

Streak tiers and leaderboard

Your best verified streak unlocks prestige tiers: Rookie (0), Scout (5), Rifler (10), Elite (20), Legend (35) and GOAT (50). Tiers and animations are cosmetic: they do not grant money, skins, tickets, extra attempts or better draw odds. “Today’s GOAT” means the current daily leaderboard leader, not an announced prize winner.

Countdowns show the next daily or weekly leaderboard reset, or a campaign’s entry closing time. Campaigns are not automatically drawn when a timer reaches zero. The organizer must review and initiate winner selection after the entry period and settlement window.

Clubs

Clubs are invite-link mini-leagues. Anyone with the invite code can join after signing in. Member aliases and weekly scores are visible to other members. Club standings use each member’s whole current Denmark calendar week, including scores before joining. Private clubs do not create prizes or change official prize eligibility. You can belong to up to 20 clubs and own up to five.

Initial pilot eligibility

Published pilot campaigns are for people aged 18 or over who reside in Denmark. One account per person across all sign-in methods. Creating another account does not make you eligible for extra prize attempts. The site being accessible elsewhere does not make someone eligible for a prize. Practice remains open to everyone.

Prizes and winner selection

Each campaign lists the exact skin and wear, organizer, organizer contact email, opening and closing timestamps and reference value in USD. Skin prices fluctuate; the listed value is not a cash balance or guaranteed resale price. Start/end times are absolute and shown in your local timezone. Attempts and new campaign days use Europe/Copenhagen. The server decides which calendar day a run belongs to, using its start time; changing your device clock or timezone does not change your allowance.

Entry stops at closing. For random giveaways only, after a minimum one-minute settlement window, the organizer initiates a cryptographically random ticket draw. Every recorded ticket has equal weight. A winner is drawn once, and the draw is recorded in an audit log. The organizer publishes the winner’s display alias, then marks delivery after the Steam trade is completed. No automated Steam trades are performed by this website.

For a “Top score wins” campaign, the organizer instead reviews the eligible score standings and records the champion using the skill-ranking criteria above. No ticket draw is used for that format. Any exact tie requires the organizer-arranged skill tie-break before an award is made.

Winners must contact the organizer using the campaign contact email within seven calendar days of the recorded draw or skill-winner announcement, as applicable, identifying the campaign and their display alias. The organizer verifies the account and eligibility before delivery. Never share passwords, Steam API keys, recovery codes or authentication codes. Winners need a Steam account able to receive the stated skin; trade restrictions may delay delivery. The organizer aims to send the skin within seven days after verification, or explains a specific trade restriction. No cash alternative is promised.

If a winner cannot claim or is ineligible, the prize remains pending while the organizer resolves the case; this version does not automatically redraw or silently remove the winner. If there are no entries, the campaign closes without a winner.

Fair play and limits

No bots, scripts, duplicate accounts, impersonation or manipulated requests. Ranked play is limited to 3 starts per account per Denmark calendar day; unranked remains available. The server rejects replayed and late answers. Public prize launches still require manual review of suspicious activity. These controls do not guarantee that all automation or multiple accounts can be detected.

Competition information is fixed when published. Existing campaigns cannot be silently edited through the owner dashboard. The organizer must handle outages and participant questions fairly and must not misrepresent a cancelled or unfunded prize as available.

Contact and questions

For general game or rules questions, DM @playskinstreak on X. For entries, eligibility, claims or delivery in a specific campaign, use the organizer contact email published with that campaign. Never send account passwords or authentication codes.
